SHIPPING TO WARMER STATES:
All natural, sustainable, coconut wax is soft and was specifically chosen because it allows the melt pool to form quickly to release the aroma sooner. Natural coconut wax can and will melt if left in a hot car or if left outside in hot temperatures for too long. If melting occurred, place it in the refrigerator for 5-10 mins and it will reset. This will not happen during regular shipments.
TIPS FOR WOOD WICKS:
Get the most out of your scent journey with a little TLC!
T - Time is everything. Did you know wax has a memory? Well it does! When you light eco candles for the first time, burn it long enough that the entire surface liquefies. This usually occurs within 2 1/2 - 3 hours. This will ensure an even burn each time & prevent tunneling for future lightings.
L - Length & Let Down. Candles arrive with the wick trimmed & ready to be lit. Upon lighting, the wick flame will burn high for 30-60 seconds and then “let down” to a low burning, ember glowing, flame. It may look as if it will burn out, but it won't. This style of wick was intentionally chosen for safety.
C - Crackle & Care. Wood wicks produce a soothing crackle sound. It is a gentle reminder you have a candle lit. Upon the 2nd lighting & after; if there is any burnt ash on the wood wick tip use a tissue to pinch it off before lighting. If the flame is burning high at subsequent lightings, extinguish the flame, trim the wick and relight for low burning flame.
SAFETY WICK CLIPS:
Our custom wick clips are designed to keep the flame at a safe height above the vessel base to prevent overheating. There will be a small amount of wax leftover due to this design.
HOW TO REUSE OUR VESSELS FOR TRINKETS AND MORE:
As mentioned above, a small amount of wax will remain in the vessel. Heat the oven to 180 degrees f, line a cookie sheet with tin foil and place the vessel in the oven for 10-15 mins. Carefully remove from the oven (using a heat resistant pot holders or mitts), place on a heat resistant surface, once it has cooled a bit with the wax still melted, place paper towels down in the vessel to soak up any remaining wax. Use another paper towel to fully wipe out any wax residue as you don't want it to get in your sink. Next, you can use a fork to gently remove the wick holder. Lastly, wash the vessel with soap and hot water. Viola! You now have a reusable vessel for trinkets, makeup brushes, pencil cup, plant starter, or more!
AS ALWAYS:
Use precaution when burning a candle.
Never place a burning candle within the reach of children or pets.
Keep candles free of any foreign materials such as wick trimmings.
Only burn candles on a level, fire resistant, surface and away from drafts.
Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
Candles have natural ingredients but they are NOT for consumption.
Do not use melted wax on skin, wash hands after touching.
A WORD ABOUT ESSENTIAL OILS:
I use pure, organic when possible, essential and essence oils in my blends. I do not intend to diagnose or treat any disease or condition by adding essential oils to my candle blends. It is up to you to educate yourself about the properties of essential oils.
My Signature Noire Wax is a gentle reminder that light will still shine out of darkness. Never let anyone dim your light,
